No you are not crazy. Sometimes it takes some life experience for us to realize that "life" and relationships are not all we anticipated them to be. We become disillusioned and wonder what is wrong. At the same time we see our children or others who remind us of ourselves at younger stages of our life.   We begin to remember what life was like for us back then. The media is full of abuse stories and we begin to identify with them. Our abuse begins to surface as we start to "connect the dots" with what we are hearing, seeing and remembering . It is never too late to start on the journey of recovery.
